Silvia and her Mother found in Louisiana Estate records

The most recent information found on Silvia in East Louisiana/West Florida Baton Rouge area in the probate recorded of the Flower family shows Silvia aged 8 and her mother Sarah aged 26. This information coincides with our known facts of Silvia’s early life in terms of where she lived. The name Sarah is also seen in Silvia’s choice to name her daughter Sarah Jane. Pictured here is the bill of sale for Silvia when she was 12 years old. We can see from this document she had been separated by her mother at this point. It would be Morgan Cryer’s son John Cryer who would bring Silvia into Texas.
